The retreat will be held at the Prairie View Christian Camp near Arkansas Camp.  Map below showing the camp location.  The camp has a ball diamond, horseshoe pit, and basketball goals.  The Arkansas River abuts the camp but I don’t know if fishing is good or not.

The Christian Education Board is attempting to make the retreat very affordable by only charging $55.00 registration fee for those who commit to attend by notifying me by Sunday, February 28, so we can take advantage of the camp’s pre-registration policy.  If a person does not commit by the pre-registration date and still wishes to attend, the fee will be $65.00.  For those who commit to attend (payment is expected even if the person cannot attend) by Sunday, February 28, the CE Board will make the pre-payment and you will pay the $55.00 upon arrival.  Those who don’t commit will pay the $65.00 upon arrival.  I hope this is not too confusing, but we are trying to save everyone money.

We encourage the churches to consider paying your pastor’s fee.

The fee will cover all lodging and will provide four meals.  One offering will be received Friday night

The Retreat will begin Friday morning, March 19 and will run through noon Saturday, March 20.  This will allow you to attend by taking only one day of vacation from the usual work week.  We encourage you to reserve this day on your vacation schedule at work now.  Let me know the number of attendees from your church no later than February 28, so you can get the $55.00 rate.
